ABOUT
Aja Patrice is a Los Angeles–based Senior Digital Content Architect and digital media professional with over a decade of experience spanning multimedia production, digital publishing, creative strategy, and content operations. Her work focuses on structuring and delivering compelling digital experiences through the intersection of content management systems, UX-informed storytelling, and digital marketing strategy.
She helps organizations translate creative ideas into scalable digital platforms, ensuring that content ecosystems support both audience engagement and operational efficiency.
BACKGROUND
Originally from Philadelphia, Aja began her career in New York City where she gained early experience in media production and storytelling while working with several influential entertainment and broadcast organizations including Def Jam, ABC’s The View, BET Networks, and MTV Networks.
These experiences shaped her foundation in creative production, collaborative workflows, and large-scale media environments. After relocating to Los Angeles, she expanded her work into digital publishing, content architecture, and marketing-driven digital platforms, supporting projects from early concept development through production, launch, and ongoing content operations.
Her professional strengths include project coordination, digital content management, creative development, and cross-functional collaboration. She has experience supporting initiatives that require both creative vision and operational structure, including managing timelines, coordinating contributors, tracking budgets, and forecasting solutions for complex creative workflows.
CULTURAL WORK
In addition to her commercial and digital media work, Aja has contributed her expertise as a Senior Digital Content Architect in collaboration with nonprofit and cultural institutions. Her work includes supporting digital media initiatives connected to the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture at the New York Public Library and the National Alumni Association of the Black Panther Party, where she has helped shape digital storytelling assets and visual media that support the preservation and accessibility of important historical archives and cultural programming.
CREATIVE PRACTICE
Outside of her professional work, Aja continues to develop creative storytelling projects through writing, visual media, and digital editorial development. She is currently building Love Fraîche, a digital platform exploring beauty, fashion, culture, and the evolving dynamics of the modern stylish woman.
She also collaborates with small businesses and nonprofit organizations as a creative partner, supporting graphic design, digital media, and content development initiatives.
LOOKING AHEAD
Aja is continuing to deepen her work at the intersection of digital experience platforms, content architecture, and creative strategy while pursuing future academic goals including an MBA. She also maintains a growing interest in interior design and spatial storytelling, exploring how aesthetics, narrative, and environment intersect across both physical and digital spaces.
